Perfect ending to an awesome family weekend. After a really bad case of cabin fever I was desperate to get out of the house and do something. So Saturday came and I decided it was time for a visit to the children's museum in Boston! Riley of course had a blast, even though that place is packed and you could easily lose a kid in there! Then we had lunch at a local place where Riley won a little award from Awanas for making it to the halfway mark. Sunday we had church and attempted to go to Hobby Lobby but forgot it was closed on Sundays..{fail} so we ate some lunch and then came home and caught one of those ridiculous squirrels that have been plaguing our attic for months now!
Then this morning we had the pleasure of having the husband's promotion ceremony. It was very simple and quaint not what we are used to. But Riley and I got to be more involved this time. Riley took off his old rank off of his uniform and I put on his new one! We are so proud of him and it's always nice to hear people such nice things about my man! I love him so much! He's such a stud.
So special moment for us deserved a special outfit in my opinion. I was glad it was in the 50's and sunny today so I got to wear my new skirt. The skirt definitely makes an impression! :) The week is looking good. We are one happy little family!

Oh Thank you Tia! I actually got it at a local store where I live. There are tons of similar ones at Forever21 like that. I've even seen some at Target!
